I bought this Toyota Tacoma in 1996...it was the First vehicle I ever bought new, right off the dealers lot. I had a 1982 Isuzu that got 210K miles before it blew the head gasket....then swapped out for a 1994 Yota but the 1996 will probably be the only New Truck we see in a long long time...Gonna drive the wheels right off the beast...so far 202K miles and going strong....needs some tires!!!

A couple times a year, as I use up my supply of lead, I go to the local U-Pull U-Pay auto salvage yard and I purchase a mass quantity of wheel weights.....and a lot of crap that gets in the barrel......

This barrel had a gross weight of almost 700 lbs....and after cleaning and sorting and smelting down to ingots I cleared about 500lbs of nice clean recycled lead.

Thats my Dad!! Seventy plus years of hunting and fishing and making his own stuff....must have wore off on me. So we get together and clean up wheel weights, old firing range rounds and the never ending piles of soda cans.

We have a selection of fine sinker molds from a company called Do-It and another named Hilts....the mold is used to make Egg Sinkers...this one makes a series from 1oz to 5 oz weights. We have others for 6oz & 8oz. egg sinkers, a 8lb downrigger cannon ball mold and a 10lb finned downrigger ball. The big downriggers can really chew thru a pile of lead in no time!!!
